Roberto Perez-Rocha is the Director for the International Anti-Corruption Conference Series (IACC) with Transparency International as its secretariat. Gathering around 2,000 people from circa 140 countries, the IACC is the world’s leading independent forum for all those committed to achieving social justice. In its last edition, Korea 2020, the IACC gathered in its virtual format more than 10,500 people from over 180 countries.

Under his leadership the IACC has grown into a global agenda setter for new solutions against abuse of power and its effects on global challenges like environmental crime, climate change, dirty money, trafficking, and organised crime to name a few. Roberto is a pioneer. He has launched global initiatives engaging people from all sectors such as the IACC Young Journalists Global Network, the Social Entrepreneurs Initiative against Corruption. He is the founder and co-convener of Films 4 Transparency, the only international film festival supporting films that have corruption at its centre, and Fair Play, a unique Global Anti-Corruption Music Competition and festival. Roberto is recognised for bringing together investigative journalists and anti-corruption advocates together, significantly transforming how advocates work on a national and global scale.

Roberto holds post graduate degrees in political science and development from the London School of Economics and the Pompeu Fabra University from Barcelona. He holds a bachelor degree (with honours) in political science from the Universidad Iberoamericana from México City.
