Since September 2014, Johannes Hano has headed New York/Canada office of ZDF. Before coming to the US, he was based for eight Years in Beijing as ZDF Bureau Chief East Asia. He worked for ZDF's primetime investigative news show "Frontal 21" and as a political correspondent in Berlin. He has authored a number of award winning documentaries about the "war on terror", China and the nuclear disaster in Fukushima.
